PRESENTATION

Since its creation in 1967,CDE,thanks to its professionalism,has been an undisputed leaderand able to become a reference company in the field of Buildings and Civil Engineering with the achievement of prestigious works in Senegal, West Africa, Central Africa and the Middle East.

Building is CDE's founding profession; from this branch, the company has established itself as a leader in Senegal. Since 1982, CDE has opened up to the African market and made prestigious achievements such as:

  • The ECOWAS Fund Headquarters in LOME;
  • The University of DSCHANG in CAMEROON;
  • BCEAO Headquarters;
  • The National Agency of the BCEAO in MALI;
  • Traumatology, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Centre in  Grand-Yoff, DAKAR ;
  • The SAKOBA aquaculture project in Guinea etc.

It is during that period that CDE established subsidiaries in Guinea Conakry, Mali and Guinea Bissau.

Interventions on targeted projects have taken place in Togo, Cameroon, Kuwait, Malawi, Equatorial Guinea, Niger, etc.

This is how CDE has succeeded in building a reputation for excellence in the professional sector, with funder such as the AfDB, IDA, AFD, EU, BOAD, FAD, IDA, KFW, IBRD, Kuwait Fund, USAID, etc.

In 1990, CDE successfully entered the Civil Engineering and Roads market, which currently represents 20% of its activity, with the desire to expand that sector.

In the 1990's, the sector recorded a strong growth inthat business with CFA francs 30 Billion as turnover in 1999.

A short, but tough period followed, during which the company's essential driving forces mobilized to mitigatethe first effects of globalization.

This period coincided with the first attempts at diversification, particularly with investments in real estate development.

CDE aims to be a comprehensive construction company   that offers its customers a complete control of the entire project value chain: needs analysis, financial and technical engineering, turnkey projects, construction, etc.
